Does your service work for people outside of the USA?

No, sorry. The data broker sites we cover mostly have US resident data and we're only set up to handle US phones and addresses.

Why is my data still in Google and Bing search results?

Search engines scrape web pages once in a while and keep track of what they saw. When you do a search, they use their saved data, which can end up out of date if you're removed from a people-search site and the search engine hasn't yet re-scraped the page you were on.

If you'd like to ask Google to expedite their next scan of an outdated page, you can use their outdated content removal form. Bing has a similar form.

Why is my data still on ...?

Is it one of the sites we support?

It can take a while for the sites we do support to process opt-out requests. If it's been less than a week since you received your opt-out report, sit tight. The data will probably go away soon. If it's been longer than a week, let us know where you're still seeing your information, and we'll investigate. Links and screenshots are helpful.

Can you add support for a new site?

We'll need to see what's possible. Please email us to tell us what you're interested in. Feedback is essential for helping us prioritize what we work on, so it'd be great to hear from you.

Are family/friends plans available?

No, but we hope to add them. Email us to let us know if you're interested!

Are business plans available?

Yes. Our service is a great way to protect your employees and business from phishing attacks and social engineering that could lead to data breaches or fraud. Please email us to tell us what you're looking for!

How quickly will this work?

Most of the information you see about yourself in search engine search results will be gone pretty quickly, but some will take longer to go away. After you sign up, we'll start searching for you and submitting opt-out requests within a few days. After each opt-out request is received by a people-search site, it'll take up to a few weeks for them to process. Some requests won't work the first time and will require even more followups.

Can you remove me from PeopleConnect sites like intelius.com, truthfinder.com, ussearch.com, and instantcheckmate.com?

No, sorry. PeopleConnect, which runs many people-search sites, now uses an opt-out process that we can't support. Please use their suppression tool.

How do I change my account email address?

If you still have access to the account's current email address, send us an email from it to request the change. If you've lost access, please email us and we'll let you know what's needed to prove account ownership so we can make the change for you.

How can I cancel my subscription or delete my data?

Sign into the management page, where you'll see an option for cancelling. When you cancel via the management page, we'll immediately delete all of the data we have about you and you won't be charged again.

To delete just some of the data you gave us without cancelling your subscription, please email us.

I've never been arrested. Why was I found on an arrest warrant site?

Some sites like texasarrestwarrants.org sound like they're for arrest information, but they're actually just general-purpose people-search sites. The site names are misleading, and being found on one of these sites is normal even if you've never been arrested./p>

Can you remove me from legal, mugshots, business, news, academic, or social media sites?

Probably not. In general, legal records and mugshots are difficult to remove without a court order. News articles and academic records are usually impossible to remove.

If you want to change your social media visiblity, please sign in to your accounts and change the privacy settings.

A "reputation management" company might be able to help in some cases.

Why should I trust EasyOptOuts?

You can check out reviews online and read our privacy policy. If you want to be extra careful, you can look yourself up on some of the sites we cover, and only give us information that's already out there, so that you're not sharing new information with us.

How many people-search sites will I be removed from?

A typical customer is found on and removed from about 100 sites. But it does vary pretty dramatically depending on how widely your data has been shared, and it wouldn't be surprising to be found on only 50 sites, or even fewer if you've already worked on limiting your digital footprint.

Are any coupons or discounts available?

If you need help paying or want discuss discounts for your charitable organization, please email us.
